    Unique location

    The resort was opened in an area rich in healing waters and mountain slopes near the Northern capital of Russia. 25 hectares of land have been allocated for Tuutari Park near Mount Kirchhoff. By the way, the beauty of local landscapes was once appreciated by Peter the Great himself.

    The emperor built himself a small hunting lodge in this area and amused himself with skiing and shooting at game. This is exactly how the first person in the state, who became a real legend of Russia, spent his leisure time. During World War II, the historical building was destroyed, but the image of the hunting lodge has survived to this day in local legends. To see where it was located with your own eyes - isn’t this a real pleasure for someone who cares about Russian history? In addition to the important historical background, the region attracts tourists with its crystal clear air, the luxurious silence of the forested mountains and rich mineral springs, warm even in the bitter cold.

    However, no matter how ancient and rich the history of the area, Tuutari Park itself is a completely modern resort, equipped in accordance with current standards and designed for a discerning client. It is equipped with the latest technology, developing and improving over the years.

    The Tuutari-Park ski complex is located in close proximity to St. Petersburg, which allows it to actively develop and not experience a shortage of visitors. The Tuutari Park trails are laid on the slopes of Mount Kirchhoff, one of the highest mountains in the Leningrad region (170 m). The slopes are 400-600 m long with a height difference of 60-80 m, they are suitable for completely inexperienced beginners and residents of the surrounding area who decide to ride a little on the weekend. The Tuutari Park area has the full range of usual winter entertainment, including a full-fledged snow park. Cross-country skiing, ice skating or “cheesecake” skating, downhill skiing and snowboarding are provided, and almost the entire territory of the complex is illuminated in the evening. The complex's slopes have received FIS certification and have already hosted major competitions in several ski disciplines. At the same time, the potential of Tuutari Park is far from being exhausted; besides skiing, there is nothing to do here yet, except for relaxing in a cafe or restaurant.

    When to come

    The ski season in Tuutari Park lasts from December to April. The presence of snow cannons makes the trails smoother and slightly delays the park's closing date. Temperatures in the winter months range from -5-7C and the weather is often cloudy and windy. From spring to autumn, the complex is practically closed, opening only for corporate clients and rare public events.

    How to get there

    St. Petersburg is only 15 km away from Tuutari-Park. The easiest way to get to the resort is by personal transport. First, drive along the Tallinn Highway, after Krasnoye Selo, turn to Gatchinskoye, passing the village of Villozi, follow the sign “Tuutari-Park”. You can also get to Krasnoye Selo along the Kievskoye Highway; the further route will be similar to the first option. The train from the Baltic station can take you to the Mozhaiskaya station, after which you will have to walk 6 km. The situation with the bus is similar - there is a regular bus from the Prospekt Veteranov metro station towards Gatchino, which will drop off those interested at the turn to Tuutari Park, from which it is still the same 6 km to the destination. If you are lucky enough to catch a passing vehicle, you will be able to shorten the final leg of the journey several times.

    Where to stay

    There are no places for accommodation on the territory of Tuutari Park. Since there is a million-plus city nearby, there will be no problems with accommodation - there are a wide range of housing offers from economy class to luxury apartments.

    The beauty of the slopes of Mount Kirchhoff was appreciated by Peter the Great, who built a residence here for himself, where he spent time riding and hunting.

    Almost 3 centuries later, residents of the region also had an excellent opportunity to visit these places and spend time skiing.

    One of the most famous ski resorts in St. Petersburg was founded in 1998 and had only one ski lift on the territory.

    Description of the ski resort Tuttari Park

    Features of relaxation in Tuutari Park

    Gradually, the infrastructure of the ski center developed, and now the resort offers its visitors to try each of the 5 excellent slopes.

    The trails laid out on them have only blue and green markings; athletes skiing at a professional level will find it somewhat boring in Tuutari Park:

    • The length of all ski routes is 2100 meters;
    • The maximum length of the descent is 600 meters, and, despite the fact that the top of Kirchhoff is 170 meters, the difference in altitude at the resort is from 60 to 80 meters;
    • All slopes of Tuutari Park are equipped with evening lighting;
    • 5 rope tows continuously transport athletes to the peaks, from where St. Petersburg located on the horizon is magnificently visible;
    • Young skiers are lifted up the mountain by a magic carpet - a completely new belt lifting system. A similar lift operates on a slope intended for descent on cheesecakes.

    Equipment rental

    The resort offers ski equipment rental, equipped with high-quality equipment from Fischer. Thus, renting a complete set, including skis, poles and boots, in Tuutari Park on weekdays will cost 600 rubles for the first hour of skiing, each subsequent hour costs 180 rubles. On weekends and holidays, the cost of renting a ski set increases by 50 rubles. When renting equipment at the resort, a cash deposit is required; alternatively, you can leave your driver's license at the office.

    Complex infrastructure

    A children's sports school was opened at the ski resort in 2001, whose graduates achieve excellent results in winter sports. Many of them now work in Tuutari Park as instructors and teach the basics of skiing to the next generation of skiers. Adults can also undergo training at the resort, which includes not only training in alpine skiing techniques, but also such important issues as choosing equipment and rules for preparing alpine skiing for the season. Cross-country skiers will also enjoy their time in Tuutari Park. A special route with minor ascents and descents has been laid out for them. The ski equipment rental office has a wide range of cross-country skis. There is no charge for skiing on this resort trail. Additional attractions at Tuutari Park include a skating rink, where you can get a few lessons from a figure skating coach. Children will enjoy the small zoo where they can meet reindeer, horses and ponies. Accommodation at the ski resort is not provided. Delicious hot dishes offered in the restaurant and bistro will not allow any skier to go hungry.

    Cost of lifts

    For an hour of using the lifts on weekdays in Tuutari Park you will need to pay 450 rubles and 650 on weekends. Like most ski resorts in the Leningrad region, there are discounts for seniors, students and people with disabilities. Children under 5 years old stay throughout the ski resort completely free of charge.

    It will be very difficult for those without a personal car to get to Tuutari Park. You can only get to Mozhaisk by train, and then you have to walk a 6-kilometer section of the journey. But this doesn’t really deter keen skiers. And many people prefer Russian Tuutari Park to the best ski resorts in the world.
