Vacationing with a friend. The holiday was a success, the weather was great, hot, cooler in the evening, at the end of the holiday it rained a couple of times. We even managed to dance, despite the end of the season, many clubs worked, there were people, but not everywhere, of course. We most often went to bars Teasers, Senior Frog from clubs - Castle, Starsky's went.

So, for the hotel, a really new, well-equipped hotel with leather furniture, modern. But the territory is small, the view of the road and the stones, they have not yet managed to acquire vegetation there, but they planted trees - tangerines, lemons. The hotel is located on the outskirts, but there are pluses: if you go from neighboring Protaras, for example, you arrive faster than anyone)) It is located on a hill, when you go to the beach, you go down it, and you already have to climb back - this is someone who lacks sports - I personally even I lost weight from such exercises)) Walk slowly to the beach for 5-6 minutes, the beach is excellent, it is much better than Nissi Beach, which is dirty, crowded and no particularly beautiful landscapes.

To the center, where bars, clubs, shops need to be “cut” for about 15 minutes.

We had a studio on the 1st floor, there was a decent gap under the door, small ants constantly crawled in, besides, there was a built-in kitchen and a refrigerator right next to the door, which obviously attracted them. At first they didn’t clean the room for a couple of days, then they cleaned it, they didn’t change the towels, they didn’t bring toilet paper, I went to the reception, they gave me towels, then they began to change them during cleaning, but apparently they didn’t bring the paper in principle)) There is a plus-mega-balcony, you can even arrange a dance floor there, and we had breakfasts there and sometimes evening gatherings. The city is very calm and safe.

Food: the hotel does not feed, because. this is an apart-hotel, in the restaurant they took national dishes - moussaka, stifado, kleftiko for 10 euros, ate together)) Soups are made for about 3-4 euros, in general, you can live. 350 euros was enough for me for 2 weeks, including all purchases)

Cultural program: excursions, of course, expensive, whoever has the right, you need to take a car. We went on the 1 cheapest tour Paphos-Kourion-50 euros per person-liked it. There are also excellent buses, the Osea network, you can ask for a schedule at the hotel, we took it in the nearby Marina. We rested in this hotel with a friend in April 2014. At first, when we got off the bus, the impressions were not the most pleasant, because the hotel was located in the very outskirts of Ayia Napa. But the main plus here is the silence at night.

The hotel is small, consists of several buildings. The rooms are clean and tidy. Cleaned up not very often, but we did not "pig". Garbage basically needs to be taken out by oneself, there are containers nearby. Linen was changed 2-3 times in 9 days. Gray towels. The kitchenette has everything you need. Safe for a fee. They gave us an adapter for free. We didn’t need air conditioning, because in April it’s still not very hot, we even used an extra blanket. From the balcony we could see the sea)) We didn’t take food at all, because the room has a kitchen and a refrigerator, we bought something for the morning in a supermarket or ate in a cafe. The average bill for 2 girls is 30 euros (2 salads and drinks). The portions are large, so we didn't always finish our meal. Feel free to ask to have leftovers put with you, everyone does that there.

I really liked the manager, friendly, caring and very sociable. She doesn't speak Russian, but that wasn't a problem.

In ten minutes the beach, clean, sandy, beach equipment is paid (all for 2.50). The sea is clean, but in April it is still icy.

It's about an hour drive from the airport. It’s 5-7 minutes downhill to the beach, of course, it’s a little harder to return, but again, it’s not a problem for us young people at all)) Where to eat is also not a problem, there are restaurants everywhere and near the hotel and further away, the average bill for two is 25 euros , if you take each a dish or, for example, one large dish for two (meze). There is a cool amusement park in the center - I advise the booster attraction)) If anyone is interested, then you can walk to the street of bars in 25 minutes, plus there are many free transfers to this street)

Great clean beach, fine sand. As elsewhere in Cyprus, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. We went to the vaunted Nissi Beach, maybe the views there are more beautiful, but unlike our beach, Nissi was dirtier and bloomed great at that time, everything was in green algae.

We rested for 9 days - we cleaned often, for 9 days they didn’t clean 2-3 times .. breakfasts are monotonous, every day the same thing, namely: tea / coffee, two slices of white bread (from the toaster), two slices of ham, cheese, an egg, half a cucumber and half a tomato and another 5 grams of jam, that was every day. To whom, of course, it’s not thick, but we ate enough.

The hotel has a small pool, often there is no one near it at all, and there will certainly be free sunbeds near it. There is free Wi-Fi at the reception and by the pool.

We had a studio big room, two beds, a sofa, a table, a large plasma (one of our channels is the first), a bathroom. Well, separately about the kitchen corner: there is everything you need - a stove, a saucepan, a board, a frying pan, spoons, forks, mugs, glasses, but the knives are blunt, it's better to bring your own.

The only downsides are paid air conditioning (5 euros a day) and terribly squeaky beds, well, we got these at least...

And so, in general, a cool hotel, it was the cheapest at that time in the Ayia Napa area. I recommend!) Have a nice rest.

Hotel Soho 3 * is located in the city of Ayia Napa, about 5 km from the center, consists of two-story buildings with 10 rooms each.

The location is certainly far from the entertainment center, but there is no fuss and noise at night. The beach is located 15 minutes walk. A small minus is that on the way back you need to climb up the mountain. Also of the minuses is that there is a road nearby and if the windows do not overlook the sea, it will be noisy in the evening, but no one bothers to sleep at night.

The overall impression of the hotel is very positive. Solid European 3 stars.

The room has a large bed, LCD TV, sofa bed, table, chairs, a couple of bedside tables and chests, a dressing table with a mirror. There is a shower cubicle in the toilet room. Shampoo and soap only on arrival, so it's worth taking them with you.

Since the hotel does not have its own restaurant, food is either at the nearby Marina Hotel or at the nearest cafe. I advise you not to take food at the hotel, but to eat in the cafe or in the room. All conditions have been created for this. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, toaster, electric stove, kettle and a full set of dishes and pans (points are given for this). By the way, there is already an adapter for local electrical networks, it makes no sense to buy.

For lovers of baking, I can recommend the Zorpas bakery. It is far from the hotel, but walking around the city, go, you will not regret it. Everything is fresh and tasty. You can also sit there to drink coffee and eat dessert. The bakery is located in the Luna Park area, on the street with McDonald's.

The room is cleaned every day except Sunday (probably a holiday). It is noticed that the floor is not washed every day, but as it gets dirty. In general, they clean up for four.

The hotel has a small swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. By the way, for those who do not know: in Cyprus, all the beaches are municipal, hotels simply do not have their own beaches. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid, in 2011 2.5 euros each.

But at the same time, he has no health problems, since going uphill from the beach or the city takes a lot of energy. There is, of course, an alternative in the form of a bus or rented equipment.

The sea is clean. Beautiful fish swim around. Sunset is sandy. I advise you to take a mask with you or buy it in Cyprus, you will not regret it.

There is no point in going to the famous Nisi Beach, although the beach is also good there.

You can rent a bike, scooter, ATV, buggy and car. Everything except a bicycle requires a driver's license. By the way, traffic in Cyprus is left-handed, so be careful. Rented equipment cannot be driven outside the area (Famagusta). For bicycles in the city and the country, special paths have been made, including between some cities, with the exception of motorways.

I advise you to go to the city of Protaras either on a rental or by bus. The ticket costs 1 euro, they go every 15 minutes.

Protaras also has a gorgeous beach. The city is more suitable for families with children. Much less entertainment.

In Ayia Napa itself, in the center of entertainment, Luna Park (more suitable for children's recreation), boat trips, diving, and, of course, nightclubs.

In the cafe, everyone advises to try national local dishes, but it seems to me that they are not for everyone. Masaka - minced meat with rice and eggplant, covered with egg sauce. Dolmaty - the same minced meat with rice, wrapped in grape leaves. Meze deserves special mention. You have to be a very big fan of meat (or fish, depending on the type of Meze) to eat about twenty different dishes, and almost without a side dish. Please note that all dishes in Cyprus are almost not salty. It is better to order one, but a full-fledged dish with sauce and a side dish. It will be much tastier. But this is just my personal opinion. By the way, do not hesitate to ask to take with you what you could not eat. It is there in the order of things (especially applies to the Mesa).

By the way, we liked the beach next to our apartments most of all - we traveled to the neighboring ones - ours is cleaner, more comfortable. the sea ... oh, I miss it terribly .... The hotel is located on a hill, so the road to the beach took about 10 minutes there, and more back))). It is better to "cut" the road to the beach on the right hand from Soho, through the hotel "Bona Napa".

Although the hotel is located away from the city center, it is not difficult to get to shops, taverns and discos on foot - 30 minutes and you are in the center of events (you can get there by bus).

We liked everything, even if there were some shortcomings, it did not upset us, because we rested and enjoyed life.

On the last day of rest, several rooms in the hotel were robbed. All windows and doors were closed. It feels like the hotel staff opened the room themselves. The police just shrugged and said that they themselves were to blame for not putting valuables in the safe. When we first checked in, the receptionist said they didn't have a safe.
