    29.06.2022

Family holiday in Vietnam, it is best to spend in the south of the country, because it is here that all the components are combined in the best way. Almost all year round it is warm and the air temperature is + 20-30 degrees on average. In the south of Vietnam, all conditions have been created by nature itself for a pleasant and harmonious beach holiday. The Vietnamese are very hardworking people and therefore carefully look after the beaches. Here, perfectly clean sand and clear sea water, warm and unusually comfortable for a long swim. For a family vacation with children and the elderly on the coast of the south of the country, it is best to choose the period from the end of November to the beginning of May. The central regions of Vietnam are good from March to August, and in the north of the country you can relax in spring and autumn, so these regions should be preferred during these months of the year. When choosing the south of Vietnam for a family vacation, you should pay attention to such resorts as Nha Chaga and Bai Dai. In the central part, Da Nang and Kia Dai are popular. There are many places for entertainment, shops, cafes and comfortable hotels that meet the wishes of numerous travelers. If you want privacy and peace, then in Vietnam there are exotic places where you can spend time inexpensively and take a break from the crowds. Nhachagi resorts are very attractive for young tourists - here you can spend a family holiday with children and give them the opportunity to ride a cable car and visit the Vinpearl Land amusement park. The whole family will be able to find entertainment for themselves in this park, which is even called little Hollywood. Children will ride rides, parents will attend extreme events and all together will be able to visit the aquarium with a unique collection of marine life and plants. A good aquarium with rare species of fish is located on the Vietnamese island of Chi Nguyen, and in the vicinity of Nha Chaga, children will be interested to find out what “monkey island” is. Fascinating excursions for the whole family are also held in the capital of the state - Ho Chi Minh City, where you can watch a funny performance in the original puppet theater on the water. Going to Vietnam with children, you can rest assured that regardless of your child's hobbies and age, an interesting and memorable pastime is guaranteed. Modern hotels will provide not only decent accommodation and quality food, including a children's menu, but also entertainment for all age groups, and in many of them you can take part with your child.

Which hotel to choose? We answer these and other questions in this review.

Features of rest in Vietnam with children

Vietnam is one of the few countries in Southeast Asia where you can have a good rest with children for little money. Even in the most modest guesthouse there will be quite comfortable living conditions. There is no such animation here, but family-type hotels have playgrounds and swimming pools. The beaches in Vietnam are mostly sandy, but the sea often storms, which often upsets mothers with babies.

During a holiday in Vietnam with a small child, you should not worry about food - the national cuisine is not as spicy as in Thailand, and besides, there are a lot of fruits and vegetables. Juices are sold on every corner, and in a cafe you can order vegetable puree, meat and fish. Milk formulas and baby purees are available in supermarkets, but it is better to take instant cereals with you. The usual oatmeal or buckwheat is not to be found here.

Kids spend most of their time on the beach, with older children you can already see ancient temples and Buddha statues, the incredibly beautiful Halong Bay and other attractions. Ho Chi Minh City has a wonderful zoo and botanical garden, as well as an amusement park and one of the best water parks in the country. Nha Trang has a lot of entertainment for children.

When is the best time to visit Vietnam with kids?

The average annual air temperature in Vietnam is always above +22°C, the sea is also warm. However, due to the fact that the country is stretched from north to south, the weather in different regions differs significantly.

Rest with children best in the south of Vietnam - it never gets cold there. The most comfortable time for a beach holiday comes in winter - from January to March. Phu Quoc Island is ideal for children.

In autumn and winter, you should not relax with children in central Vietnam(Nha Trang, Da Nang). October and November are dangerous with typhoons. In January and February, the water is not warm enough and there may be strong waves at sea.

Good weather In the north of the country(in Hanoi, Ha Long) is set in autumn and spring. in winter - cold, and in summer it often rains.

The best beaches and resorts in Vietnam for children

According to reviews, for holidays with children in Vietnam, Russians usually choose Nha Trang, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc Island. If the child does not tolerate shaking in public transport, then it is better to stay in Nha Trang or Da Nang - it takes no more than 30 minutes to drive from the airport to these resorts. In Mui Ne and Phan Thiet you will have to travel several hours by bus. Consider each of the resorts.

Danang and Hoi An they are also conveniently located relative to the airport, there are good wide beaches, but in terms of the number of entertainment, these resorts are significantly inferior to Nha Trang. Another nuance - from October to the end of December, powerful waves rise on the sea, more suitable for athletes than for kids. People come to these cities mainly for cultural and sightseeing holidays, and not for the sake of relaxing on the beach. The main contingent of tourists - foreigners.

And Phan Thiet is a special tourist zone, extremely popular among Russians. It will take much longer to drive from the airport, but there are good sandy beaches and hotels. Despite the fact that big waves often rise on the sea, these resorts are among the most popular in Vietnam among vacationers with children. There is not much entertainment, and the main pastime of tourists is on the beach. Large selection of excursions to local attractions.

Island Phu Quoc lovers of scuba diving prefer, the water here is always very clean and transparent. In addition, this is the only place in the country where the weather is good almost all year round. The island, according to tourists, is ideal for a relaxing holiday with children in Vietnam.

Best hotels for families with children - 2019

Hotels in Vietnam, in our opinion, are the best in all of Southeast Asia in terms of price-quality ratio! For $10-15 per day you will get a comfortable and nice room. In Nha Trang and Da Nang, almost all hotels are located across the road from the beach, in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet and Fukuoka - on the first line.

How much does it cost to relax in Vietnam in 2019? The prices are attractive: in winter, a tour for two adults and one child with accommodation in a 2-3 * hotel for 7 nights from Moscow costs from 80 thousand rubles, in a 4-5 * hotel - from 90 thousand rubles. Meals are usually only breakfast, but this is not a problem at all, because food in Vietnam is very cheap. In addition, this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the delightful. All-inclusive tours with a departure from Moscow for a week cost from 110 thousand rubles (with accommodation in a 4-5 * hotel).

Based on the ratings and reviews of tourists, we have selected some of the best inexpensive hotels for families with children in the popular resorts of Vietnam. All 4 and 5 star hotels. All inclusive, full board or breakfast only. They are located on line 1 or 2 and have entertainment for children.

    • Vinpearl Resort 5* in Fukuoka with full board.
    • Dessole Sea Lion Beach Resort Mui Ne 4* in Mui Ne with a tropical garden.
    • Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort 5* in Nha Trang. You can buy a tour with access to the famous Vinpearl Land amusement park - children (and adults) will definitely be delighted!

On holiday in Vietnam with a child? Why not! Even with breasts. At first glance, it may seem that this direction is quite exotic and not familiar to Russian tourists, but let's figure it out together in our review. Yes, it’s a bit far to fly, but now there is a huge abundance of direct flights on the tourist market, both regular and inexpensive charter flights, both to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and to Nha Trang, if you wish, you can also fly to Hanoi by direct flight. From Moscow, the duration of the flight will be approximately 10 hours.

Both families with a baby and people with adult children and teenagers come here to relax. The country impresses with its hospitality, kindness, beauty of nature, many ancient temples and other iconic buildings, the width of sandy beaches, their diversity, delicious and healthy food, an assortment of fruits, and most importantly, budget prices for entertainment, food and accommodation!

Vietnam stretches across the map from North to South on a large scale, so the climate here is quite diverse. Almost all cultural and architectural monuments, buildings and national reserves, all this charm is adjacent to coffee plantations and rice fields.
Per beach holiday Definitely need to go south. The climate is more stable, although there are a few subtleties, which will be discussed below. Here you will find beautiful views, gorgeous beaches, many hotels of different levels - from economy to luxury.

If a citizen of the Russian Federation plans to stay in Vietnam for no more than 15 days and not travel to neighboring countries, then he does not need a visa.

    A few important nuances:

    • supermarkets sell all kinds of mixtures (regular, soy, lactose-free), baby food and dairy products (including cottage cheese and kefir), it makes no sense to bring luggage of food with you for a one-year-old child. For older children (2-4 years and more) in each cafe you will be prepared healthy and tasty Pho soup and other dietary dishes
    • whether you will need a stroller there is a big question, sidewalks and comfortable pedestrian zones are not Vietnam’s strong point, although if you are not planning a forced march across the country, but want to relax in one resort, it might be worth taking it with you or renting it at place. Many prefer an ergo backpack or sling
    • responsibly approach the collection of first aid kit, be sure to take mosquito repellent
    • always wash fruit, never drink ice-cold drinks at economically priced restaurants (ice may not be of good quality), keep disinfectant liquids or wipes on hand at all times

A trained tourist is a happy tourist. Think over all aspects in advance, plan an excursion program, and we are sure that Vietnam will not disappoint you!

    Hotels

So, we present to your attention our personal rating, which includes the best hotels in Vietnam for families with children:

    Phan Thiet (Phan Thiet)

Truly a heavenly place. Almost all hotels are located on the first coastline, they are romantic bungalows, buried in greenery, and each hotel provides sunbeds for free for use by its tourists. One catch - it will take 4-6 hours from the airport to get to this picturesque corner, from Nha Trang it will be a little faster than from Ho Chi Minh City. But for those who have been there, this fact is not particularly frightening.

The best time to visit is during the winter months, with heavy rains in the summer, early spring and late autumn will also be quite good.

    Ocean Vista 5*

    1 of 5

One of the few 5 star hotels in Mui Ne with many floors and amazing bird's eye views from the rooms. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center of the town with economy cafes and more expensive restaurants, the location is very good and secluded. The territory of the hotel itself has an enviable size and scope: there are golf courses at your service, for children there are ponds with amber fish, two pools with crystal water. All residents have free access to the fitness centre, kids play club and sauna. For breakfast, delicious pastries, cereals, 4 types of fruits, eggs cooked in different types and other positions are served, no one will go hungry. The rooms are equipped with full program, there is a full kitchen with appliances, a stove and even a slow cooker, the furniture is fresh, bathroom accessories are replenished daily. The beach is private, sunbeds and umbrellas are free, in abundance, no queues and crowds.

Bamboo Village Beach Resort & Spa 4*

    1 of 8

This hotel is the embodiment of all dreams of a perfect vacation with the family. Many in the reviews on the forums call him the best in all of Mui Ne, and he rightfully deserves such an honor. Small bungalow rooms are surrounded by greenery, and two-room accommodation for a large family is also possible. The number of rooms is excellent, stylized according to Asian canons, the bathrooms in the superior rooms have an open-air area, you can take a shower and enjoy the rays of the sun or the coolness of the night under the moon. Cleaning takes place very responsibly and always in your absence, all the staff are extremely kind and polite, the administrator is ready to give advice and suggest at any time where it is more profitable to exchange currency or in which restaurant to dine. Breakfasts at the hotel allow you to forget about searching for food for at least half a day - the widest variety of pastries, eggs, cereals, fruits, you can even taste pleasant Vietnamese soups. There are so many that it's hard to know what to choose. All cafes and restaurants are located within walking distance, there are also massage parlors, grocery stores and other necessary items nearby. We advise shopping lovers to book this hotel, there are interesting shops with cosmetics in the area, you can buy pearls and original clothes. The hotel itself is very quiet, but at the same time located in the center of the resort. Note to young parents - discos and clubs are within easy reach. The beach in all of Mui Ne is unforgettable, sunbeds and umbrellas are free, the hotel site is guarded, there are buoys in the water, which is very important with children. The Internet works throughout the hotel, even near the water. It offers babysitting (for a fee), a cute playground with a slide, a crib in the room on request, adapted meals in the restaurant. There is no animation as such, no one holds a mini-disco either, tourists in all of Vietnam entertain themselves, there is a slightly different format of recreation here, unlike Egypt, for example. And finally, a video about the recommended hotel:

    Nha Trang (Nhatrang)

What you need to know about Nha Trang? Firstly, this is a full-fledged city, not a resort, and not only tourists, but also local residents live here, and secondly, direct flights are offered from Moscow to its own Cam Ranh International Airport, that is, the transfer to the hotel is reduced in time by several times, thirdly, it is a full-fledged beach mecca of Vietnam. Rest here takes place in an energetic, noisy and fun format. There are also quiet cozy hotels for children away from the incendiary center. An indisputable plus for young children is the presence of all kinds of popular entertainments near the island called Vinpearl, where people come in search of adventure from all over the country.

Nha Trang is proudly included in the TOP of the most beautiful bays in the world. The beaches are mostly municipal, the sand is snow-white, consisting of grains of shells, the water is azure and uniquely clean.

When to go? The main rule is to avoid the autumn months, you can get into the rainy season. In winter, it is quite cool, but still comfortable for swimming. The resort's peak attendance falls in spring-summer, at which time it will be 100% hot and sunny.

    Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang 5*

    1 of 8

This chic club hotel is based on the legendary island of Winpearl, ordinary tourists quite often have to queue to get to this paradise place (by boat or cable car), while hotel residents have the privilege of a card that allows you to skip the line everywhere. The boat will take you with a breeze from the mainland to the island in just 10 minutes. The plastic card also gives access to all the delights and entertainments of Winperl - restaurants, a water park, slides, an aquarium, etc. in the corridor there is a solid closet, which will comfortably fit the entire vacation wardrobe. Bottled drinking water is provided free of charge. The territory is huge, all greenery (here just look at the photo), there is a children's pool with water slides, a sandbox and a carousel, a children's room with many toys and a continuous broadcast of the cartoon "Masha and the Bear". The beach is huge, the sand is grainy, the entrance is very gentle and safe, a fairly large area along the bottom is fenced with a net, the water is clean, none of the exotic fish can disturb you. Sunbeds are free, in sufficient quantity.
To have fun in the park itself, tourists ride a tuk-tuk, the journey takes only a couple of minutes. In addition to carousels, a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, an aqua park and other joys of life, there is a shopping street where you can buy drinks and other necessary things at a price lower than in a hotel. Children will definitely be delighted with the fountain show, riding a long cable car or electric sleigh along the relief terrain of the island, from the heights of which an unforgettable view of the whole of Nha Trang opens. And quite often carnivals are held on the island. You can talk endlessly about Winperl and its entertainment, there is a huge thick catalog of them ... It's definitely worth going there with children.

    Amiana Resort 5*

You come to this premium hotel and understand that life is good! The territory is immersed in greenery, there is silence and tranquility around, I wanted to go to the city center - 10 minutes by taxi to Nha Trang. Insanely convenient location, ideal for relaxing with a baby. To be honest, the hotel does not specialize specifically in family vacations, but here you will find everything you need for an unforgettable vacation with children. Noisy entertainment and a huge staff of animators are not provided in the hotel, but in Asia, in general, such a format is a rather rare bird. But there is a Russian-speaking manager at the reception, he will always advise. Sandy beach, nature, tasty and healthy food, atmosphere, entertainment outside - all this is at your service. More about the beach: sunbeds and umbrellas are free, the entrance is very gentle, the sand is white, there are no waves, since swimming takes place in the bay, you can even meet fish, they are quite common here (masks and flippers for rent for free). There are two pools - one with sea water in the form of a lagoon and with a panoramic view of the beach, the second - with fresh water and a children's area.
The number of rooms is very diverse, there are rooms divided into several zones, there are multi-room rooms, some have their own kitchen. The hotel works on the basis of breakfast, judging by the reviews on tophotels from tourists who have been there, they feed magically in the morning. There are freshly squeezed juices, cereals, pancakes, omelettes, honey straight from the honeycombs, fruits, desserts and even soups! Lunch and dinner can be both in the hotel and outside its territory. Chefs will be happy to take into account any whim of the guest, they can cook any dish, even one that is not on the menu.
From entertainment, you can ride a rental bike for free, visit a children's room, play volleyball or badminton. For immersion in complete relaxation, a spa complex is provided. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Nha Trang city center at scheduled times. Another important plus is free wi-fi throughout the territory.

    Phu Quoc Island

The largest island in the country, framed in a frame of white sand around the perimeter. The main part of the territory is untouched nature national park, but all the attributes of a comfortable stay are present here. You don’t have to swim - there is your own airport, tourists fly from anywhere in the world, with a transfer in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Another nice thing is that while relaxing here, you will watch the sunsets going into the water, which is rare for Vietnam. The contingent of vacationers is families with children, couples in love, the elderly and divers. The nightlife here is not full of variety.

A visit to the island can be timed to escape from the harsh Russian winter. Our December, January and February are perfect months to stay here. Spring and autumn are also quite comfortable, while in summer this paradise is abundantly rained.

    Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc 5*

    1 of 9

A chain hotel of impressive size, with a chic territory, perfect service, free admission to the water park and Winpearl amusement park (let the name not mislead you - there are two parks in Vietnam with the same name Winpearl). You can get to this children's paradise by tuk-tuk (again, free of charge in 3 minutes), there you and your kids will be waiting for an oceanarium, slot machines and a 7D cinema. All this happiness for hotel guests is free of charge, for a smile! 🙂 And for a snack - the evening show of fountains will leave a lot of unforgettable impressions, very large-scale and spectacular. The beach is gorgeous, of course, sandy, like many others on the island, not crowded, there are a lot of free sunbeds and umbrellas, there is enough for everyone, the entrance is gentle, the sand is the smallest. When booking a tour, we advise you to take three meals a day, the kitchen in the hotel is of the highest quality, there is a children's menu, any guest will be satisfied, and most importantly, full. You can talk about food almost endlessly, they treat residents with all kinds of delicacies in three restaurants, here they have rolls, and sushi, and delicious fish, and meat, and soups, and pastries, desserts, eyes widen from the amount of fruit ... Drinks for lunch and dinner are paid. The rooms are very diverse, from the usual standards for two to luxury villas for a large family. Everything you need that comes to your mind is there (iron, high-quality cosmetics, slippers, bathrobes, hair dryer, crib and much more). In short, the quality justifies the price.
Video to fully understand the level of beauty of the hotel:

As you have already noticed, Vietnam is not very similar to Egypt or Turkey familiar to Russian tourists, whose hotels operate on an all-inclusive basis. Animation is not the main advantage of this Asian country. But here the format of recreation is different - enjoying the atmosphere, nature, silence. But about all the other little things, each of the hotels we reviewed will gladly take care of, and will do it at the highest level.

    Useful information?

    May holidays experience

In this part of Vietnam, the spring months are beautiful. There is no suffocating and humid heat yet, and rains are rare. Therefore, having visited Hoi An in April and stayed here for only one day, we decided to return here for a good rest in May.

    Rest alone

There is never a dull moment in Hoi An: after all, a new discovery will be waiting for you around the corner of literally every house.

Where is the best place to stay?

When choosing where to stay, we studied almost the entire city on the map and reviews, looked at photos and read reports. Having decided on priorities, we decided to choose a hotel not on the seashore (because it was important for us to explore the city) and not in the oldest city. There is a small area in Hoi An, which is separated from the old city by bridges. It is an island surrounded by a river. In the evenings, a market opens here. We chose this place because, despite the proximity of the main attractions, it is quite quiet here. And for Hoi An with its crowds of tourists, this is a definite plus. At sea we were going to ride bicycles. And, frankly, this is also a kind of tourist attraction.

What to do at the resort?

Hoi An is an open-air museum. All day long you can wander through the labyrinths of streets. You can go on an excursion to the ruins of Michon or the marble mountains. Or you can take a bus to Da Nang and visit the famous Golden Bridge.

Of course, a memorable trip will be an excursion to the ruins of the Michon temple complex. This is an opportunity to travel back in time. After all, this complex was built and used from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Here you feel like a real explorer, although the complex is not very well preserved, and some buildings can only be guessed among the stones and earth. There is no shade on the ruins, it is very hot, so you should take care of water, sunscreen and a hat.

And of course it would be a crime not to visit the old town of Hoi An. Entrance is free, but to visit the sights, you will need to buy an entrance ticket. Its price includes the opportunity to see 5 attractions: you will have to choose among the variety of museums, temples, houses, community buildings, and of course, do not miss the famous covered bridge with a pagoda. But even when all the tickets are spent, you can go to galleries, cafes, workshops - most of them are located in old buildings, and local residents are happy to show tourists the houses of their ancestors.

Four as an assessment only for the fact that you still have to drive to the beaches from the city center. But the beaches themselves are clean, in some places palm trees descend to the very water. However, when you get to the beach, don't stop right away. There are always a lot of Vietnamese in this place and as such there is no beach infrastructure. Worth going to the left. At first, the beach will not be very beautiful, due to the sandbags reinforced with sandbags. However, cafes start further, where you can leave your vehicle. It's already better here, and there are not a lot of people.

    Where can you eat?

Food is everywhere here: from carts where you can buy pancakes, to solid cafes. Coffee houses in ancient buildings and courtyards are especially beautiful.

About the quality of food and service

In Hoi An, you can try several dishes that are the symbol of this place: noodles with Khao Lau meat, crispy shrimp pancakes and dumplings with White Rose rice flour dough (we liked them the most).

How much does it cost to eat? About food prices.

Prices, it seemed to us, are somewhat higher than in Nha Trang. For example, a bottle of beer in a restaurant will cost about 20,000 VND, White Rose (depending on the location) from 80,000 to 120,000 VND. For two, we spent about 300,000 dong for dinner.

Pros of living in Hoi An

Romance... In my opinion, Hoi An is the most romantic town in Vietnam. Here you can fully immerse yourself in the history and culture of this region. It seems like you are at home. Hoi An is the only resort, leaving which, I could hardly hold back tears.

Cons of staying in Hoi An

A large number of people. But for some reason it didn't bother me at all.

    Should you visit Hoi An?

Definitely worth it, at least once, at least passing by, it is worth looking into Hoi An. And if you are relaxing in Nha Trang, take a chance and go by bus to Hoi An for at least a couple of days. It's worth it.

Next we visit the Clay Sculpture Park. A very interesting and colorful place where, among other things, you can change into a national Vietnamese (Chinese, Japanese) outfit for ridiculous money (2 dollars) and take wonderful photos.

    Feel the difference!

This is not just a sightseeing tour of the city, which tour operators and street travel agencies do. If you were told that your tour already includes a “free” or “gift” tour of Nha Trang, you should know that this is not really a tour, but a drive through factories and shops disguised as a “tour”. Therefore, it is free. Only people who are not accustomed to finding out information in advance go to it. You are no longer one of them

The tour "Real Nha Trang" is completely different both in approach and in content.

It takes place both individually (couple or family, price on request), and in a group.

In addition to well-known places, we strive to show the real, non-tourist Nha Trang, and Vietnam in general. The highlight of the trip is the country pagoda, which few people know about. There are almost no tourists there. On the way to...

Imagine a luxurious quiet beach where only our small group relaxes (often this is the case).

It is very beautiful there, there are no waves, city fuss, the landscape is decorated with picturesque rocks - an ideal place for relaxation and photo shoots. We are on the beach from 8:30 to 15:00.

And on the way back to Nha Trang, we stop at a unique shell temple and the Dragon's labyrinth, after passing which, according to legend, you can cleanse yourself of past sins.

The price includes transport, entrance fees and mushroom beds, as well as wine, rum, a lot of fruit and a very tasty dish of Vietnamese cuisine (everyone eats, there is no extreme, no one ever remains hungry).

The duration of the tour is from 7 am to 5 pm.

Group up to 14 people, comfortable air-conditioned minibus.
